A junk car lot on South Halsted
We're at 4601 S Halsted, between Bridgeport and Back of the Yards, a few blocks from the old stockyard gate. Cars have been bought and hauled off this stretch of Halsted for about as long as there have been cars.
What we actually do
We buy vehicles people are done with — dead, wrecked, rusted, stripped, or just old enough that fixing it costs more than it's worth — and we pay cash for them at the curb. Then we tow them out at our expense.

Halsted runs straight from Bridgeport through Englewood and down past 79th, so a lot of our pickups are ten or fifteen minutes from the lot. Short runs mean we can say yes to same-day more often, and they mean the distance doesn't eat into what we can pay you.
How we quote
We price on the vehicle itself: weight, what's still bolted to it, whether it rolls, and how far the truck has to go. When you call, describe the car honestly — including what's been taken off it — and the number you get on the phone will be close to the number the driver confirms in person.

The phone is answered around the clock. If you're doing a garage cleanout at 11pm and want it gone before the weekend, call. If a landlord gave you until Friday, call. We dispatch overnight.
